Why TEOncology?
The Unfiltered Truth
About Cancer
In a world where medicine walks the fine line between saving lives and making money, Dr. Teo Yin Keong — a clinical oncologist from Johor, Malaysia — brings you the raw, unfiltered truth about cancer.
Cancer is life-altering. It disrupts not just the patient’s world but the lives of their loved ones. And if we live long enough, cancer will eventually hit us all — it is an inevitable consequence of aging. Yet, very few openly discuss how to face it with clarity, courage, and hope.
At TEOncology, we aim to bridge that gap by sharing invaluable insights from a medical professional’s perspective. Our goal is to help you navigate cancer with less fear and better preparation. Whether you're exploring treatment options like chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, radiotherapy, or targeted therapy, we provide essential knowledge to prepare you mentally, physically, and financially.
TEOncology — where you’ll find the truths that many doctors won’t tell you.
The best treatment isn’t always the most advanced or the most expensive.
In Dr Teo Yin Keong's Perspective:
Oncology Is Beyond Cancer Treatment,
It's About Compassionate Care
Since 2011, Dr. Teo Yin Keong has been dedicating his career to both government and private hospitals in the field of oncology, leading thousands of patients from Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore through their cancer journeys. His passion lies not only in treating the disease but in improving the quality of life for those affected—helping them find comfort, dignity, and meaning in the midst of their battle.
"The best treatment isn’t always the most advanced or the most expensive. The best choice is the one that emphasizes a patient’s quality of life - ensuring that the patient (& their family members!) can live a life with the least impact mentally, physically, and financially upon a cancer diagnosis. The last thing anyone wants after a cancer diagnosis is to lose their dignity in the process. For some, the goal is to eradicate cancer and live another 30 to 50 years, just like a healthy person. For others, it’s about gaining an extra 5 to 10 years—enough time to fulfill their dreams before their journey comes to an end. And for some, it’s simply about spending their final days with less pain and more peace, saying goodbye with dignity and without regrets.” This is why TEOncology exists—to provide the essential knowledge and guidance needed before, during, and after a cancer battle, whether for yourself or a loved one.
